We partnered with a non-profit community organization to provide a forum that worked to equip African American women with the tools, resources and encouragement needed to seek and reach their own highest level of achievement. The Black Women's Task Force Forum (BWTFF) was held at the Baltimore Convention Center in Maryland. We provided workshops led by well-known speakers dealing with many pertinent areas needed for women to overcome the obstacles they face and move forward to embrace the success that can be theirs. At my home church, Lamb of God Christian Church, Landover Hills, MD, an African Immigrant Ministry, I have been the Director of Training and Evangelism and am a Board Member. I have had the privilege of advising and assisting in the forward motion of this church in areas of ethics and accountability along with the implementation of their first Water Baptism, first Good Friday Service, Children's Church program, training and teaching workshops, Bible studies, Women's Ministry and more.
In 2005 I was crowned as "Mother of the Year and in 2006 I had the privilege of crowning the new Mother of the Year 2006-2007. I was able to find and wear an African dress for the occasion as you can see by the picture to the left.

Both of these projects have brought me new opportunities to participate in reaching out a helping hand to empower many with what they need to live a good and successful life. Every opportunity to assist people brings me closer to the fulfillment of the call of God on my life and my dreams as a young person and that is to help and strengthen as many people as I can.
